Outdoor Living Design
Since the home was new, my clients were able to start this project from scratch. Their budget included building stone walls as fencing which was quite pricey. The style of the home is more of Mediterranean in Stucco though externally there are no arches, inside there are many. The shed I designed is very similar to the home and all exterior shed and kitchen materials will mimic the exact stucco color and rock used on the home. I don't consider myself a landscape artist and don't do horticulture design. My major area is creating living spaces outdoors with consideration of ground materials and elevation changes. One request was that a glass firepit existed on the original patio and to have a sitting area next to the outdoor "kitchen." Specific details of the back of the home are not shown. Under this design there is room for six around the bbq and four around the firepit. I've inserted an example of a similar home within the community.
